Default Can you add TPMS to a 2005 GMC Sierra

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
I think some 2005 Silverado's and Sierra's had this from the factory but my 2005 GMC Sierra Crew Cab 4x4 doesn't, can it be added and diplayed in the instrument cluster?
I think somebody once said that they can change out the Door lock control module and reprogram the truck to display the tire pressures and you have to have the TPMS sensor's added to the wheels.
Anybody know for sure?

I was going to try this with my 04 silvy. What you need is to reprogram your passenger door module to turn on the TPM system if it is capable. Otherwise you can replace it. Then reprogram the IPC to show tire pressures (basically reprogram it as if it were an 06) and learn the sensors and you should be good to go!!

Thanks, now I just need to go to the trie store and see if the GM camapablte TPS sensors will fit my wheels if they do the I will go and have the Door Lock Control Module reprogramed or replaced.

I will post up my results when i get this done.

Well I have it on my 2008 GMC Yukon XL Denali and it works great and is verry accurate so I thought it would be nice to have on my Sierra.

Why do you say its the devil?
