Default Component speakers??

So i have alpine type S 6.5 components in the front doors and memphis audio 4X6 speakers in the rear. I'm not very impressed with the alpine speakers, my memphis audio 4X6 sound better than the type S components do. Has anyone had luck with another specific brand and type of component system?

I have Infinty in the front and rear and the sound is great. With my 2 12" it sounds like a home system.

yup. i've got the reference in the rear (4x6) of my std cab and they sound great. i have heard the kappas in the same size and will pick up some of those sometime soon. JBL sounds great but the Infinity Kappa are the best value for the money. the Kappa Perfects are the best out there IMO but drive some serious wattage and i'm not sure if they'll even fit into our doors and they are hella expensive.

For the money, Infinity Kappa components are great speakers. I'm running Kappas all the way around in my CTS and running two sets in each front door of my truck. I've been in the mobile electronics field for almost 18 yrs and have tried all types/brands of speakers. Focals, MB Quartz, Memphis, Eclipse, Boston, a/d/s, etc. , but for the money, the Kappas are hard to beat.
