door locks equal dead battery
i have had so many electrical issues with this truck its mind blowing. first the cluster has been replaced 4 times. the fuel pump was drawing such high amps it didnt even blow the fuse, burned the wiring on the tank, melyed thru the fuel line and caught the truck on fire and still didnt blow the fuse.i actually had to get back in and shut the key off. now when ever i use the remote door locks the battery will be dead in the morning. anybody ever come across the battery to go dead like this ? what the hell is wrong with it ?

nope nothing at all bought the truck 5 years ago under warranty still and only performed normal maintenance. i dont do any upgrades til the truck is paid for case someone hits it or unfortunately i can pay for it and i lose it. so the truck is just like the factory made it. minus the dust and dirt from time

Maybe a bad lock actuator. Do you know what is staying on? Is the dome light staying on? To test for a draw I remove a battery cable. Run a test light from the battery lug to the cable. When there is a draw, the light will light (you have to unhook the hood light and close the doors). Pull a fuse until you come across the draw. That should give you a good place to start. I would also try unplugging the door actuators to see if the draw is eliminated. Keep us posted.
