If you are going with RAAM mat, give Rick a call (the owner). Really nice and helpful guy, he will get you set.

200sqft give or take the size of their rolls....

Kinda depends on the product too, with the older RAAM mat it was pretty thick, didnt need to double up as much, with cheaper stuff you need an extra piece in the large open areas, which eats up more.

You cant go wrong with some of the other brands out there, I just cant see why people keeping paying for dynamat when its clearly overpriced compared to almost all the other similar products out there...

Ill also second Rick at RAAM mat being top notch, quick shipping and great product. I just gave Fatmat a shot this time knowing how much I needed to do the whole cab and wanted to see if it was as good for the money(which I think it is)

I did my whole crewcab with less then 100sq and that was doubling up on the rear floor and covered the doors inside and out. The Fatmat "MegaMat" is the best bang for the buck, 100% butyl rubber and sticks awesome, it will never come off !! Best **** I ever used i hear no resonation or rattles when the bass hits in my truck.

100^ Mega Mat Sound Deadener Noise Killer

I got mine on ebay with free shipping...

I was just thinking about this the other day when I had my door panels off, its like y'all read minds on here. Good info.

I'm not putting out a ton of bass with my subs but I was wondering how much of a difference it would help quiet the cab from road noise.

Also read through your tutorial blackgmc, great stuff. I've never pulled my seats and carpet out. Does the carpet pull out easy? Do you use any adhesive when you reinstall the carpet? Same with the head liner does is come down easy and reapply easy? I guess those are my main concern areas since ive never really done it.

I installed my system in 2007 & completely rewired everything with larger wire. I bought the Raam mat 100 sq ft roll & completely covered the floor, 3 layers under the rear seat(under seat box), back cab wall, & inner panels of all 4 doors.

When I get around to making my headliner match the rest of the interior, I'm gonna do the roof. I still have to figure out how I can keep my overhead light from rattling when the subs hit lows.
