Default GM Alarm questions

I've been doing some research on the GM alarms and I have a few questions that other threads didn't answer. I'm looking at the VSC 3200 and first off I was wondering if it came with the horn. The picture of what came in the box that I saw didnt have one. Secondly, I was wondering where would be the best place to get one. Lastly, I have power locks and doors BTW, should I get one of these or go out and get someone to install a Viper or something along those lines?

I would go with a aftermarket DEI product, viper /ungo/clifford etc. Byfar the best alarms you can buy.

I did a little looking around and it seems like the gm alarms are the same thing as the aftermarket ones only cheaper. It looks like they all have the same features to me.

I'm just partial to dei products when it comes to alarms, The gms will have the same features, but are probably not the same quality. They made by some other cheaper alarm company, They will probably work just as good but the only problem with alarms is finding transmiters in the future when you break/lose/or they just fail. With DEI being the largest alarm manufactuer you will always be able to get parts. I usually see atleast 1 customer a day that is looking for a transmitter for a (no name alarm) that is either unavailable orthe company is no longer in business.. Just my opinion.
