Default GM Navigation Install Inquiry

We installed a OEM navigation unit into a 2007 Denali, GM navigation part number 25797978.

When the truck is parked, the screen stays on.

What could the problem be? Is it install error, or a bad Navigation unit?

Gotta program the radio using gm tis 2web. It's dumb until you program it if its new. Or if it's used it will lock up until programmed because it does not recognize the bcm since the vins are different. If you dont have the software gotta take it to the dealer.

It has been to two different dealerships because we figured the first one didnt know what they were doing. Well, after being at 2 different dealerships, it has not been fixed!

Any chance both of the dealerships programmed it incorrectly?

The CD and map works fine, and the "theftlock" is no longer displayed.

??????????????

Need a little more info. Did you do any additional wiring, could you have pinched the harness when re-installing. Is the backlighting on or does the screen actually illuminate, does it display any icons etc.
