Question Guage cluster swap

I found a 06 silverado 3500 with the 6.6 diesel and the alison trans, i want a guage cluster with the trans temp guage, I was wondering If i could swap the diesel cluster into a 1500 with the 4l80?

so long as your truck's a 03-07, the cluster should work without a lot of pain. you'll need to get the mileage & hours reprogrammed by a shop, and your redline will be awful low. probably better off finding a cluster from a gas truck that at least goes to 6000rpm. many came with trans temp gauges.

I ordered a custom one with trans temp from
Digital Dash Solutions. I’m really happy with it.

I would find a gas one so your tach doesn't stop at 5k

Years ago, I found a guy on eBay that would rebuild and customize gauge clusters. It was pretty cheap, and I got everything I wanted (including temp gauge).
