Default has anybody used the onstar mic for aftermarket bluetooth?

I recently bought a 05 extended cab sierra Z71. Truck has factory bose "with-out navigation", XM Radio, and Onstar. I dont believe the onstar will work in my truck since they went digital in 08. Can I use the onstar Mic for bluetooth on a Aftermarket stereo Setup?

you'd have to find the wire found out your signal in pin, ground pin, & possibly a +5v pin and splice the aftermarket radio connector into it...your best bet would be to just put the new mic in the onstar mic position after pulling out the onstar mic guts....nobody would be the wiser
