Arrow Help with audio setup for my 2005 Silverado Ext. Cab

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums, I actually just stumbled upon this while looking for a box for my truck. Basically I'm wanting to put together a nice setup. Preferably one that wont suck my truck dry, I want to keep what I need to purchase extra to a minimum. Here is some things I want...

DD Head Unit for sure. Bluetooth would be nice, NAV optional
2 - 12" or 2 - 10" Subs (Unsure which to go with to be honest)
Nice amp to put this in
And of course I need a box to handle this all.

My issue is I've really just began my experience with audio, Especially for a truck. If anyone here could maybe put together a scenario and a rough cost. I would appreciate it soo much. I'm going to have this installed locally at a place called Installations Unlimited, I know family and friends have had stuff done there, Seems like they do a good job. Any help or suggestions much appreciated.

Subs and Amps: two 10's in a downfire box fit perfect under the seat in an extended cab with out any mods to the back seat. Depending on the subs you decied on you'll probably need around a 500w amp to push things with a little head room.

headunits: Look into Alpine, Kenwood Excelon, Pioneer for you dual din headunit needs. All are great quality companys and have different products to match your price point that you are willing to spend. I know Alpine (and im sure the rest do as well) has a module that plugs into the back of the unit and allows you to keep your steering wheel controls if your worried about that.

My Setup Thoughts:

HeadUnit: Pioner Avic-x910BT -http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-AVIC-X...0956672&sr=8-1

Amp: Hifonics Zeus ZXI1010 1000 Watt Two-Channel Amplifier - http://www.amazon.com/Hifonics-Zeus-...0957326&sr=1-6

Subs: Undecided if I want to go 10's or 12's .. I was thinking about doing some RE Audio 12's maybe the SEx series about $169 a piece

Box: 99-06 GM Extended Cab Ultra Deep MAXX Dual 10/12 Downfire Box NEW - http://subthump.com/product_info.php...roducts_id=206

I don't have the steering controls, The reason I chose the Pioneer as a possibility was i didnt have to buy extra modules for Bluetooth/Nav... although I have a garmin already why not have everything built in? I mean I could always sell the Garmin or give it to the parents.

what is your budget after your headunit purchase? have you installed an amp installation kit(power wires, rca/remote cables)?

I wouldnt suggest RE audio. if you look they rate the $130 10" sub at '2000 watts' but in the specs its rated at 300. scroll down and they make an 18" sub that has a peak power handling of 4000 watts/2000rms for $900. a 10" sub that can handle 2000 watts peak is nuts. so basically they have a line of bargain stuff they're trying to hype up so it sells... their competition stuff looks pretty decent, but ive never heard them.

I don't think you'll get those to fit in a down-fire box under the back seat, without somehow lifting the seat and building the box yourself.
