did you keep you stock xm, onstar, and steering wheel controls? if so what did you use to do it all with? i'm thinking about doing the same thing. i found a bunch of adapters. is there any that are just one adapter? and one onstar thing i found said you had to unplug the fuse in order to load tunes or it would mess stuff up. also does it keep the RAP thing where your radio stays on when you turn off the key? sorry for all the questions. but thanks.

they do make the adaptors for steering wheel controls, I dont know anything about them. I've never heard of them working like factory so I never decided to look in to it.
and you cant keep factory XM. You can keep your antenna by either getting an adaptor or modifying the aftermarket end depending on how it is. But regardless of what radio you get, if you want XM you're going to have to buy the tuner for that specific radio.

then i'll just keep my stocker for now and bypass the bose amp. its hard to loose xm,cd changer, onstar and all the other goodies that go with it. and the price for all the other crap don't help. so what is the best piggy back thing to bypass the bose amp? and does the bose amp have to stay or will the bypass totally well... bypass it?
