That is the fist that I seen of that. Get a Sirius/XM radio its like 10 bucks a month and do away with FM.

I called sirrius and they offered me a free radio if i got a long enough subscription, so I got a life time for $500, and it will pay for it self in another 3 years, and if im not mistaken they dropped the price to 400 for the lifetime.

My antennae is hidden, i just laid it down under the hood, and turned the L shaped bracket.
I have lost some reception on the staitions that were already bad, but im still happy with it

I saw this antenna a couple of years ago, and I wondered the same thing. How good it the actual reception?? Well, I've never found anybody who's used one to ask. Hopefully somebody will speak up.

Likewise, used an escalade trim piece that doesn't have the hole in it to cover it up too. I lost reception with the crappy stations, but with my ipod hookup I haven't listened to the radio in 6 months

I don't even bother with the radio anymore since I bought Sirius. I done the anntenna delete too. It's a nice appearance enhancement for $10.

If you look at where the antenna comes out of the cowl there is a hole in the plastic. that plastic piece pops off and you can get a new one from some work trucks, or the escalades that are smooth like the driver side cowl piece. I still have the one with the hole
