JL amp question

Make sure you check the ohm ratings though. You could run four speakers off a 2 channel and save some money a four channel isnt necessary to run the front and rear door speakers IMO.

It's a benefit for all to read your question and my response.
With a 2 channel, you can hook up many things, in varying quantities.
Bridge your amp for a single sub, or a couple of subs in series or parallel.
-or-
Run two subs, one on each channel.
-or-
Run multiple subs on each channel by hooking up the subs in series or parallel.
Get a 4 channel, and you could run your front speakers off of two channels, and run a sub(s) off of the other two channels.
-or-
Some amps offier a tri-mode, where you run two channels like normal, and have a third speaker running off of bridged terminals. I havne't seen this in a while, so I'm not sure if manfacturers offer this anymore. It's not preferred anyways.
So you have a lot of choices and options depending on what you want to do.
List your goals, and equipment you want to purchase, and people here will try to give their best advice.

I run a 100.4 on my system. I run 2 6" drivers on 2 channels and my Highs on 3 channels. The only thing about doing it this was is you dont have as much control over your sound. Some people hook it up as front on one channel and rear on one channel some hook it up as left on one channel and right on one channel. I prefer the front and rear as I dont ever recall a time that I used to left and right balance.

thanks for the tips guys! heres teh scenario, i currenlt have a 12" JL w3 running in 250/1 JL amp. my speakers are stock with an Alpine deck. i'm trying to get a JL 12" w3 sub with a "stealth box". coz i really don't like the box i have right now. i'm tryin to get the most out of tne 12s so i'm thinking of getting either a 300/ 2 or a 500/1. i just want some really crazy bass. i thought of just running 2 12s and combine it on a 300/2. do u guys think that would sound good?
Thanks for the help guys!!!!

Sup Rein. A JL W3 will not fit in a stealth box. The only 2 JL speakers that will fit in the box are W0's and the old generation W6. I have the stealth boxes with the old W6's. You heard them, sound okay.
I would look into a pre made wood box if you want to run a W3, I think you need at least 7" of mounting depth. All new JL subs have the VRC technolgy which has a cone that sticks out an extra inch requiring more mounting depth.
You may want to look into other subs to fit in the stealth box. The boxes work very well for what they are, premade composite boxes. There is a still much more to be had by using a custom box with more air space, but that cost more money.
My bro just had a custom box built under his back seat, all wood. Has 2 JL W3's with a 500/1, a bit underpowered if you ask me, but sounds nice. Come by the house and we can listen to both. Give me a call.
