The Clean Sweep maps out at $350.

For many new cars this will be the only alternative. Looks like a great product, and the price is good to boot (surprising for a JL item )

So has anyone actually installed one of these units? I am about to pull the trigger on my new system and this is one of the items currently on the list. Is this a worthwhile investment?

My entire system will be JL. I am keeping the factory head unit to hopefully deter theft. Here is a list on my christmas list (my gift from the wife )

JL clean sweep (w/remote volume control)
XR components for the doors (tweeters in the a-pillars)
dynamat in the doors
JL 500/5 amp (w/remote bass ****) 4 gauge wiring kit
JL stealth box inside center console

update.......system is now installed. I love the clean sweep. It is mounted behind the glove box in the dash. I had the remote volume control mounted in the little slot behind the cup holders on the console. The led is there as well. I will get pictures up soon.

The quality of sound coming from the clean sweep is incredible. It sounds better than my buddy's high dollar alpine head unit.......even he reluctantly agrees.

I went all JL with my setup. clean sweep, 500/5 amp, stealth box with 10w3, xr components, dynamat in the door, tweeters in the a-pillars. Tweeter did the install and I am very happy with the way it came out. Anyone considering the clean sweep....BUY IT!!!!

best part.......from the outside my truck looks bone stock, very stealthy

pics as promised.....now obviously I don't have any pics of the clean sweep, seeing how it is in the dash and all.......

this pic is from the outside of the truck. notice the xr's tweeters in the a-pillars. It is scheduled to go back and have the grilles covered with acoustic cloth so they don't stick out quite so bad.

a thief's perspective. if you look closely you can see the xr woofer in the passenger door. these components rock!

another perspective. If you look close you can just barely see the edge of the amp board sticking out from the side of the drivers seat. Thru my tinted windows this is not so visible.

now the amp. this amp is BIG! but an all in one package. 125x2 for the front 25x2 for the rear and 250x1 for the sub. notice the 4 gauge wire kit to run it all. this amp was expensive but not that bad when you compare it to 2 seperates and having to run 2 power kits, etc. It seems to be a great combo for a regular cab truck. best part....I still have some cargo room behind the seat and the jack is still accesible easily

in this next photo the **** on the left is the clean sweep volume control. it is a very handy place to have it. the led in the middle and the bass control **** on the right. when you depress the master volume control **** the led turns red and that activates the aux input on the clean sweep, another cool feature. at first I wasn't too happy about the remote volume but now I love it. In this location it is right where my hand rests. I like it better than a remote.

just a random shot of the factory head unit in place. I wish everyone could hear how good this setup sounds.

Let me know what you guys think about the setup
