Default Just bought a Pioneer in dash DVD player.. Question..
I picked up a Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD (not installed yet) for my 2000 GMC truck.. It appears that I might have problems with the screen hitting the gear shifter on the column if I flip the screen with it in park.. Have any of you guys with in dash units had this problem? Or will it clear OK?

it will work but you have to pull up/torward you on the shifter when you open the screen.....

it dose not have to come out of park though

UGH that sucks I never thought about this I thinking about doing the Kenwood but it comes WAYYYY far our when it opens there no way it will work.....

You just need to bend the shifter a little bit, so it will clear. I had to do this with my Alpine.

...in not bending my shifter, lol, just pull it torwards you a bit...
