Thats for those can can read and build a harness on their own though........easy for me to say I guess....

you're the man! thanks for all the effort.....looking forward to hear everything is still working flawlessly in two weeks!

They used these relays for controlling electric fans, a/c compressor, Air level compressor, horn, and electronic brake control modules, so the current draw these put on the system, if programmed correctly in the PCM to turn on correctly, they will not put a huge hit to the system....basically, stagger the turn on temps. And set it to the correct temp so that they cycle on and off while the vehicle is idling...a few mins on, a little off.

Well, from what I can tell by the settings I have given the fan controls, they will only come on once the A/C pressure reaches a preset level. Then shutoff once it drops. But I havent been able to test it around here lately, as its been pretty chilly. I will today though, even though its only 55 out right now. Basically, I dont think they will come one like with the FAL VSC which was whenever the clutch kicked in. Now, I might be able to log A/C pressure, and set it up to kick on when the A/C clutch kicks in, for better cooling, but I probably wont mess with that till next spring/summer when it get warm again.

ok so i looked in hptuners and actually read what it said. and it has this enable disable speed thing. i thought it was just to turn the fans off when you reached a certain speed. but it also says that when a/c is on first stage fan when enable below this speed but not if coolant is hot. and the disable says will disable fans if a/c is on above this speed and if coolant is hot. so i may go for the 05 harness myself. mine works fine for now but my fans don't hardly even run hear in maine as cold as its been.

Since your in Maine and I am assuming it is cold there. Doesn't the defroster use the AC compressor? If so yours would be running when the ac was on if your running the standard harness

Played with the A/C a litle last night. It does not kick on the fans till it hits the set pressure, and it was about 50 degrees out so they never kicked on but once when I put a pice of cardboardin front of the condensor/radiator to make it warm up. Then it kicks the fan on, cause the a/c presure was high enough.
