Kicker ZX250.2 stable at 2ohms bridged?
#11
I have 4ohm vc's, so if I wire them correctly, I will have a 8ohm load from each sub. When wired together in parallel, that will give a 4ohm load at the amp, which is what it's stable at bridged. That should give 250watts to the subs, which will give them adequate power. Not the most they can handle, but they wont be "underpowered" there.

You need a bigger amp.

You said you had them wired to 2 ohms one to each channel which was 125 per sub correct?? If you do what you said above and wire them at 4 ohm bridged you are getting the exact same power at 250 watts to both of them which is 125 watts each. You wont gain a thing by doing this.

If your wanting to stay kicker you will need something like this:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...08ZX850.2.html
This will give you 425 watts per sub when hooking one sub up per channel at a 2 ohm load.

Or you could get a Memphis MC1.500 and wire them down to 1 ohm.
500W x 1 at 1 ohm which will give you your 250 to each sub.
BUT what you really need lol a lil over kill but
Memphis MC1.1100 and again wire them to 1 ohm and have 550 to each.

What kind of box are you running the subs in?? If it is sealed and at the recommended specs or a little smaller then you could probably get away with 500ish watts each. If they are in a ported box at recommended specs I would not run more than 350-400 watts to each. When you run a ported box your efficiency is much greater than in a sealed box and you really only need about 80% of the rms rating for each sub.
