The DD1500 are out of the size and price range that you posted. How many subs are you looking for? Do you have an amp already or one that your looking to purchase? Why is air space not a concern? Are you looking to do a cut through? Making a wall? I don't mean to sound short but their are a lot of questions that need to be answered.

im looking for 2 10 0r 12 inch subs, whatever will sound the best for hard rock, i do not have an amp yet, i figured id get the subs 1st than get an amp to match,
and air space doesnt matter because i have a 97 ext cab, and the back seat is completly gone, lots of room back there

these guys will know how to match your subs to your amp a lot better than i would, but I've had Rockford F. punch stage 2 and Alpine type S and I was happy with both. I usually get lost when they start talking about amps to match though. lol

Buy one 12" kicker solo-baric L7, you will not be disappointed.

onlinecarstereo.com has them for $240, just search for them on there using: Kicker 08S12L74

They work awesome in sealed or ported enclosures. I used 4 of them for competition and you won't be disappointed. i know the link is for the 2008 L7, but they really havent changed much in the design for 4 years.

james, this is Polecat off FSC, small sealed, CVX10" or the Solo Classic 10", if you can do 1.50 to 1.75 ported, L710".

L7's were redesgned in 2008, so 2 years. Most have a 2 to 3 year max, before design changes. 2008 was a total redesigned, all the way through.

nah, go with the new JL10w0v2, they run bout $90each, get 3 of them 8ohm, wired in parallel will give you about 2.3ohms. get an amp with 1000rms @ 2ohms and call it a day, cant go wrong with that. only thing better is 2 10inch W3v3

thats if u want some clean, loud, quality bass........ if u just want super loud go with a solobaric in a ported box
