Default Mileage display doesnt work?

As the suburban started creeping towards 230,000 miles the mileage display on the dash works randomly. It would work every once in awhile but now doesnt work at all. I would assume it wouldnt be a fuse because it used to work sometimes. Anyone have this happen to them and how did they fix it?

When I purchased my Denali Cluster from one of the reman vendors, he said that it was very common for the displays to crap out. Mine is updated with all the goodies.

It isn't a fuse - its most likely your cluster crappin out.

Theres a couple things you can do - 1. Buy a new cluster online and have it programmed
2. Buy a boneyard cluster and have it programmed.

thanks for the info. i assumed it wasnt a fuse seeing as it works randomly. and by programmed i would assume you mean by putting the mileage in the cluster?

thats correct - I will have to look, but I had a guy in new england (CT maybe) that rebuild my cluster for 70 bucks + shipping. Works like new now. I will look for that contact tonight.
