I have a box that works perfect. Holds 2 12's, sealed. It is pyramid shaped. It takes up 90% of the bottom but leaves room on both sides to put stuff like shirts, towels etc and the top acts perfect as a shelf so you can pop the glass and grab stuff off the top. Is raining right now or I'd get you a pic.
Usually I just pop one of the rear seats up and plug in my Kicker L7 in its big *** ported box But when I need more seats, I throw the other box in.

looks pretty good. it seems smaller than what i had inmine though. what the measurements on that? the one i have measure up is perfect for my 12's i have now and will work for great fo 12w6's and with polly fill would even fit 12w7's but those cost alot. thanks for pics. do you have a way to hold it still back there? oh yeah is 299 a good price for a kicker 1200 watt class d amp?

It will sound just as good, but keep the sub at least 2" away from the hatch. I could design an extremely hard hitting box and send it to you, but I dont know how good you are with odd box building. It would have to be near perfect cuts and joints.

I grew up designing and building competition boxes for Pro Sound. Sealed makes deep, ported makes punchy. You get lower HZ in sealed. Thats why most bass competitions you hardly ever see ported. There are exeptions to the rule though, like bandpass and such.
