my 2010 silvy wt option has a plane am/fm hu no cd or aux input. was curious if i could install a hu from any other nnbs that has cd and aux input since i dont have onstar or the antena on top of the cab? ive thought bout after market but i still kinda like the looks of the factory unit..

any ideas appreciated.. thanks..

to my knowledge you can swap in another radio, but it needs to be programmed to work with your truck in particular. All the 07+ radios use a lan system that interfaces with your truck's computer.

Any NNBS radio will go right in just need to take it to a dealer and have them reflash it and you are good to go.

if they even want to program it for you, ive never had luck trying to get them to program one for me

I have a AM/FM CD and AUX input Radio I'd sell you if your interested. Its in like new condition and I only took it out to swap for one with USB input(that I have yet to use lol). PM me an offer.

I send customers there every now and then, my dealer close by will only flash a unit if it's already installed. They wont flash a radio you just walk in with.

dealer charged me $48 to reflash the new radio.. everyting works like a champ even the auto volume..

Kifer, did u have the unit installed in your truck when they flashed it? I just gave my old one to my buddy and it's doing the same thing.
