Yes, there are 6 sheet metal screws going through the cab of the truck. I thought this was much better than having 15-20 screws for the 2 amps, processor, and cap going through my cab.

The seat takes about 10 minutes to take out. it is 5 bolts and extremely easy. Amazingly, I can adjust my amps with the seat in. The seat still folds up liek stock. With a small screwdriver, you can turn the ***** for the gain and crossover frequencies.

There is a way to make the back of your seat fold down. There is a write up on it at gmfullsize.com. I did a quick search on it and didnt find it, BUT I know it is there. Im sure someone has it or can find it.

You don't have to drill through the truck for a rack like that. I used industrial strength velcro (14 strips), been up for almost 2 years and have not had any problems. And yeah, the seat comes out in like 10 minutes, five bolts. Really easy, even for one person. More pics on page 3 of my cardomain site. Click link below my sig pic.
