2000w amp for two 10's? A little over kill huh? You could probably get away with 500-750w on a good quality amp. You'll get cleaner tighter bass with less watts with a nice amp than the 1000w plus amps that cost around the same.

I think there have been a few people on here that two 10's behind the seats in a Reg cab. They have had some good results.

my box is right behind the console and fits in between the 2 seats. 300x2 rockford fosgate amp pushing an infinity 10. sounds pretty good. nice and tight

Well it all depends on what series of JBL 10's your looking at. There is a pretty large range of products that they make. Which model numbers are you looking at?

As far as the box goes. If you have any wood skills I would say build your own. Manufactured boxes can get pretty expensive considering the materials that some use. I have always built mine with some friends and some beer.
