On the 2007 and up you can get what you want from the MBEC box under the dash by the e brake , its a black box right by where your left leg would be....
you can by a connector GM part # 20791502 that fits into into the X14 position in the cavity of the box , this connector can supply 15 amp power 30 amp power or RAP but this is only 300 milliamps so you have to have a relay with this one , this is what I used for a amp trigger wire using the radio wire caused my amp to pop and this cured it.
this is the location that aftermarket accessories can be added to the GMT 900 trucks
there is someone on GM-trucks .com that makes this harness up complete if you are interested in one ....
