Default Trying decide. Dual or triple pillar gauge mount

I cant decide whether to get a dual or triple pillar mount. I am afraid i will get annoyed with the triple since the top one is right in your face. Currently i have my wideband attached to my steering column. I plan on running Fuel pressure and boost gauge.

So guys with triple mounts is it annoying?

I don't have any major complaints with the triple pod. I have occasionally bumped my head on the top gauge getting in and out or trying to set something in/get something out of the truck and I am not paying attention. I have Cobalt gauges which are pretty bright and not dim-able so the extra light peripheral to your main sight line can somewhat impair night vision. However, a 2 or 3 gauge setup wouldn't make much difference on that unless you are a tall guy and your sight line is higher thru the windshield. I am a tall guy myself (6'4") and don't feel the top gauge is too close to my face during normal driving.

I have a triple, sometimes it limits your view but I don't like having gauges here and there and would rather have them in one location. I like the triple.

Have any pictures of this? I was thinking about moving my wideband there and adding a fuel pressure gauge to my triple pillar. I wouldn't say they are annoying but I have hit my head on it a few times

Is there something about the Cobalt gauges that won't let you splice into the dimmer wire for the gauge cluster?

They are back lit with LEDs. LEDs can be dimmed but it takes a control circuit rather than a simple voltage cut potentiometer like the dimmer switch.
