ok, i'm in need of a higher amp alternator for my 2002 Sierra. 160 or 200 amp would be great. It needs to be able to plug right in and it can't be any deeper than stock. I have an older style 200 amp alt here but it's got a different plug on it and it's about 1/2" deeper so it hits my aftermarket fuel rail.

You should try to GM Parts classifieds.....The only help I could give you is go to O'reilly's Auto Parts and have them match you up with a good alternator.

try ohmaha generators or oklahoma generators, its one of the two, they make wind custom generators for your needs

I bought a 200amp alternator for my 94 explorer from www.mean-green.com . I had no problems with it, and the price was right. It was a little larger than stock, but bolted right up. Email them and find out the specs, and I'm sure they'll get back to you
