The problem with audio is it all mushes into opinions. No factual evidence that anyone actually cares about, except for maybe 1%, unlike h.p./tq gains or lesser e.t.'s with performance parts. You can always give people all the supporting evidence in the world...real world rms handling, build quality, frequency response, sensitivity, etc. But when it comes down to it, a "shop" is always right. Hell, most shops nowadays don't know much of anything, except for what they carry. Mainstream brands aren't always the answer, because people often unknowingly settle for less with audio. I've seen it a million times. Audiophile quality stuff is overlooked and never recommended (like Rainbow, for example), when it's honestly better stuff. I've been there, done that, worked there, and if it's all done right, the difference is OBVIOUS. Alright, there's my rant.

And, uh...btw...Hertz has went down hill a bit. Kind of disappointed me, actually. Focal's a better product than Hertz in most cases now, but Rainbow still takes the cake out of those three.

Ya I have heard great things about Infinity and everything I have seen in person was always very nice. I think for now I will just spend the 100 bucks to have someone install the 7" flip screen I have and call it good (really wish I kept the in dash screen, amps, speakers and subs from my Avalanche)......Hell wish I would have found a way to get the rims and tires off it too..anyways thats another story.

Eventually I will get a couple 10's under the back seat and some components in the doors but my priorities are more on going fast than loud music.

And email sent =)

I like the Polk db series stuff because it has one of the largest frequency ranges as far as the "cheaper" speakers go. So, you get really good sound quality for little money.
