when i was arrested last weekend, i was asking the cop all sorts of questions about radar detectors and their radars... it cam down to him showing me how they work.. radar/laser is off.. he decides it looks like your going to fast, he pushes the button your speed instantly pops up.(he actually showed me this with cars that were passing by) so by time your radar is going off hes already got your speed.. only time its really useful is if hes trolling around with the radar on with no specific "target" untill he gets a rediculiouse speed pop up..IMO a scrambler and a cheap radar that works good enough to let u know when hes around and trollin is a good combination.. just my 2 cents.
scrambler? last I checked, IF you had the ability to scramble radar it would be a federal offense (FAA has jurisdiction of radar signals). Plus there are tons of vids and sites on the www debunking scramblers, radar scramblers that is. Laser is different story. I mean I am no expert, just lots of googling (yep, I'd admit it) and a couple state poopers in my family. Trust me, I am all about it if there is a product that can truly scramble a radar and gun and 1) you don't get arrested for it and 2) it actually worked.

cool site, this dude has been on a bunch of tv shows. I found his site back 2004 when I was buying all this crap. Review: Radar Scrambler - RadarBusters.com

This is true. But if a cop is targeting someone in front of you you will still get the signal. but if your the only one on the road your just sol lol.

It is, but you could buy one of the 100-200 dollar ones only to find out they suck. If you cant afford the V1, you cant afford to speed!
