Do you remember which they were? The 'Access' or the 'Polyglass'? I heard some Focals recently and I really like the sound, but I can't remember which they were.

I had Focal Kevlar component fronts in my '02 and man I loved them. I spent a month test listening and there was nothing a clear and bright as the Focals.

LastCall has MBQuartz in his truck and they sound damn good but I think it's going to boil down to type of music you like to listen to as well.

Well im a cheap *** so i cant affor focal, or rainbow anything like that.. but i have blown alpine R, kickers the better version ones , MBQuart, rockford fasgay, most decent speakers but seems like the recent ones i went with has held up good almost 1-1 1/2 years before i took the radio out. Dont laugh but Planet Audio

I put Polk db series in my truck powered only by a new Kenwood Excelon and they maintain clarity all the way up. Very impressed with how my budget setup sounds, and so is everyone that hears it.

I had a set of Boston Acoustic Pro 10's and Pro 6.5 components, great sound quality.
Tweets were a little bright at the highest volumes
