Alpine type G 6.5 and alpine type s in the rear 4x6 with a Alpine HU. 300$ sounds awesome. also have 2 6x9 rockfords under the rear seat on an amp. you keep turning it up and never distorts. dont buy just speakers for the doors the factory radio doesn't have good enough filters for the crisp sound we all love!!

I just put in some cadence 6.5" comps in my truck to replace my alpine type Rs. feeding a clean 150 watts to each side is amazing. no distortion and very good spread. I can hear cymbals now, as before with the type r's i couldn't!

I have had a wide variety of speakers, and I'm gonna have to say I would prefer Focal or MB Quart. They are very good for the price, but it is also very important to have a decent HU. You can have all the best speakers in the world on a shitty HU and they will sound like crap.

I love my Polks, They are pushed hard on a daily basis and they sound just as good as the day I installed them (4 years ago). I'm either going to get another set of Polks for my new silvy or save up and get some focals.
