My components do most of my "double bass" duties...subs just extend it.

And what are you talking about? It seems like you are agreeing with me now...since when did we get into loudness? Your first argument was a downfiring box wouldn't give subs room to "develop" the bass note, now your telling me a downfiring box can get loud and sound clear?

Do you finally realize the fact that subs don't need space to "develop"?

 

i recon, just confused bc if you put a db mic right in the sub cone it will lose about 8db as to having the mic down by the kicks i dont know why that would be, i would think it would be the same every where in the truck but i dont know.....

hey check out my new setup and see what you think.....any word on those fi's yet? i am thinkin about goin with some rockford t1's now.....
