you can use an old blazer or bronco motor and setup for a back window setup....it would be intense, but can be done...as for the side windows, it is possible to the window tracks you could make at the same curve as the window....even the front windows have a curve to them..

I'll add fuel to this fire. How about removeable front and rear ext cab doors? Could be fun in the summer to ride jeep-style.

Good idea for a custom shop and a guy with a limit-less budget, or just a guy with a bunch of spare parts and a lot of time. It would be cool to see it done though.

Limitless budget?
I was thinking more along the lines of a beater, wrecked, or salvage title silverado/sierra and some creativity.
If people can lambo the doors, why not have some unboltable hinges?

They dont countersink at the bottom. Second, the rear door speaker would be in the way....but thats really not a big trade off if you ask me.

Ive been thinking of going and getting an x-cab door just to play with...

There isnt much that a welder can fix, but I would like to be able to do very little welding or anything of the sort to my baby....

Im sure the window guides/ felt/ plastic parts can be found or made fairly easy.... its that small 1/4 (?) inch metal piece at the bottom of the door/ window that concerns me.

The window >might< be able to be reused...but i dont find that a real big deal, since most glass places can make one to fit if needed. The window does follow the same curve as the front windows, but they may need to be widend enough to go past the guides.

Kinda looking pretty crappy right now....lol
I'd love to see this project work out
