Default Any good places to eat in San Angelo?

Me and my family are going on vacation in San Angelo this year. We want to eat at some awesome places since we live far from anything nice. The nicest thing we have around here is Chili's and that's a pretty good drive away. We like mexican food, bbq, fried chicken, pretty much everything on Chili's menu. Let me know if you guys know of anything. Thanks.

There are a few u may want to try the Grill, Zentner's Daughter steak house, Armenta's cafe. Those are the one's i can think off right now. Armenta's and the Grill are owned by the same family. One of the Armentas that runs the Grill was on hell's kitchen and actually made it most of the way with praise.

I will second the Armenta's vote. Looks like a shack, but it's always packed for a reason.
http://www.armentascafe.com/
Franco's Cafe & Fuente's Downtown are at the top of my list too.
http://francoscafe.org/ (the Cafe Special plate is awesome)
http://www.fuentescafedowntown.com/ (I always get the fajitas)
Henry's Diner, I like the Tampico steak, Spanish steak & chicken fry, pretty good mexican food too.

BBQ
Packsaddle out by the lake is pretty good, the pork loin sandwich rocks.
Bodacious is kinda new, but I like the brisket/ribs/pork/beans, don't care for the sausage though.
R J's ain't bad...when they are open.
I've heard Bubba's BBQ is pretty good, but haven't made it over there yet.
Old Time Pit BBQ is alright, but kind of expensive.

Fried Chicken
Roosters (better than KFC imho).
Buffalo Wild Wings.
Chick-fil-a, lol.

Steakhouses
Western Sky is my #1. Same folks who own Franco's so there's mexican food on the menu too. Try the vegetable supreme steak. Awesome chicken fry, steak fingers, best cheeseburger in town.

Twin Mountain. They are known for their 'scraps', but you will leave hungry if that's all you get. Get the KC or ribeye. Good italian food there too.
I like Texas Roadhouse more than Outback.
Zentner's Daughter, damn good steak bits, onion rings.
If you want to take a drive through the farmland go to Lowake Steakhouse, it's about 35 miles east of Angelo, thick steaks, burgers, awesome onion rings. Call before you go, I think they're closed on Mondays.

Other favorites, etc.
Ichiban's for hibachi japanese style steak/chicken/shrimp, call for reservations.
The Wharf, good seafood, steaks.
Peasant Village, nice quiet place to go for anniversaries, etc., menu changes alot, stuff like pastas, chicken cordon bleu, veal, lamb.

If you are flying in or are near the airport, there is a chinese food place in the lobby that is really good & fairly cheap.
Diego's breakfast burritos rock.
Oh yeah, we have a Chili's too if none of those work for ya, and Applebees, Cheddars, Logans, Carinos, Olive Garden, Red Lobster...
