man it just came down THAT hard for about an hour. i have a buyo around my neighborhood and my streets were full. the gutters just couldnt get that much water through at once. after the rain stopped the streets cleared in about 15 minutes over here.

that sucks! if they total it, and you dont want it let me know. i will buy it from the insurance company with the salvage title...

i dont think it got deep enough to salvage though. just drain the fluids and replace. the wiring to your transmission may be getting shitty in about a year too.

Yea i was at my cousins in Dickinson when it started rose quick, they lost a Lexus and a new ford fusion had 8" inside them. I'm lifted on 33's so i was driving down the road to get people and bring them back. But the water came up almost 2ft in their neighborhood. So in the mean time we sat in the garage ate crawfish and played poker lol

That's too bad for your cousins... I know what they're going through.

We got a little water damage to the house. In 05/06 we took on $10k worth of water damage, and it turned out the neighbor behind us built his home up 26 inches just before we moved in 03/06. After that fiasco, Eric had french drains installed on the property, and we had the county re-dig the culverts b/c the french drains were linked to them. Eric asked the same neighbor to do something to help with the run-off. Neighbor said no.

This time, same thing but not as much damage, thank God. Next move, regrade the property and/or french drain more. THIS SUCKS!!!!
