Ate @ Avila's last night...a small place that was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Maple & Motor, another place on the show...was half a block down the street from Avila's as well.
I saw a Saltgrass near the hotel last night and wondered about it...may try them tonight.
Found Gas Monkey Garage last night...gate was closed but someone was working the night shift. I'll prolly drop by there this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

short layover in Austin tomorrow...ate at The Ranch tonight...great filet and awesome poblano creamed corn! Oh...and a few Red Stag Black Cherry w/ splash of Diet Coke...and a hot bartender named Katie!

Met the guys of Gas Monkey Garage this afternoon...
they invited me back tomorrow for a filming they have scheduled.
