Talking Got Ol' Bessy cleaned up...... Pics inside

Finally got Bessy cleaned up and felt like taking some pics of the ol' girl, she's a little rough around the edges but not bad for 170K miles (some hard ones in there, believe me) I think. I'm thinking of some appearance mods, any suggestions? She's going in for touch up on the paint and body before too long so may get some things done at that time if it's things I can't do myself.

Added a link for a youtube video of start up, rev and walk around.

Enjoy!

Well it was either that or stickers on the back window..... which now that I think about it aren't those worth about 10hp each or something like that, may have to rethink that. LOL!

Yeah they're cool, but, the inspection guys don't take too kindly to them. :'-(

What are the specs on your head cam and converter setup? When you wanting to install it? On the taillights just swap with someone for the day when you get it inspected.

Heads are 5.3's P&P, milled 10 thousandths. Lunati .660 double springs, titanium retainers and locks. 2.02/1.575 Lengenfelter valves. Cam is a custom grind from John at Thunder Racing, specs are 219/224 607/600 LSA 111. Converter is a 10" multi disc lock up set up for 3000-3200 stall.

Plus all the extras that go along, high output oil pump, new timing chain, gaskets for everything, ARP head bolts, 1.75 roller rockers, LS7 lifters, and partridge in a pear tree.

I am in no hurry to get it done. The truck runs great like it is and I enjoy it, but this is the next step, for me, in upgrades so I've just been slowly accumulating the parts. There's a few more odds and ends things I want to add (bigger tranny cooler, Lengenfelter timing controller, new nitrous noids) but can pick those up as soon as I get serious about putting everything in.

Yeah, I have a friend who has an '02. I just buy him a six pack and he let's me borrow his stocks for a couple of days. Not a perfect fit, but passes.
