Looking for a good transmission install place that can install a 4L60E on a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2WD it will need to have the bell and tail housing swapped.

I called a bunch of places around here to see what they wanted and they were all between $400-$600. It was worth it to me to do it myself. Switching the bell housing takes all of 5 minutes with a socket.

I went to John at Airworld Transmissions to do my shift kit, very good price and the guy, who also owned the shop, was extremely knowledgeable, esp with performance GM transmissions.

thats pretty high 600 bucks. i use to pull the tranny in my blue truck within 30 mins. i dont feel like messing with my SS in a driveway, and i dont have a lift at my convenice anymore so this local car guy i know is gonna put my circle d stall in for 100 bucks. at this point theres not much more besides swapping tails and bell housing. but he also works out of his house
