It's not cold at all... just cool humid at night 40 - 50F. Medium layer and gortex you'll be good to go... layers, layer, layers..

Here's the Co_Owners responce to me in an email:

Eric, I'm not 100% sure if I will be at the track Sunday, April 27th however will let you know either way. If not then we can certainly talk next week in further detail about getting this set up for you.

Thanks,

When you meet with them can you verify dates and times for that weekend, find out how busy they usually are, and find out how much a full track rental would be for that Saturday?

OK just got off the phone and I was quoted $6,000.00 for the whole day that includes the Starter and the Ambulance and the track rental for the day....So with that being said it is now back in your ballpark for the next step..Just let me know what we should do next and I'll handle it here on my end...

i serousley think we can get 100 trucks to show up. that would come out to 60$ per truck...TOTALLY WORTH IT IMO. even if it came out to 100 per truck i would go.

if we go on a friday or sunday it will be a wasted driveyou will get to make MAYBE 4 passes. it gets PACKED!

i think the halo guys could bring atleast 15-20 BAD *** trucks. i know most of texas truck scene would show up, so count them for 10-15 trucks, then us and i can invite the dodge guys out....i think it would be sweet to have all trucks and a few cars for us to beat up on(daniel)

IF we decide to rent the track out we would have to get payment in advance for this...I know how this **** goes and when a single person pays in advance and tries to collect later from everyone else they always get screwed. I refuse to be that person, and I don't want anyone else to get screwed either. What do you guys think.....try and get enough trucks to rent the track (would that be so many that we won't get many runs in anyway??) or try and find a different weekend where maybe there's an all day test-n-tune or something?
