You're gonna be so happy you expanded the garage. When I built the house I'm in now, I spec'd out a "car guys" garage. I have 14' vaulted ceilings, custom trusses so there are no poles, 3 cars wide and tandem. I still don't have enough room.

If you want a lift (I have a perfect park 7000), I recommend you see about higher ceilings. I can put a car all the way up on the lift with the hood open. Very beneficial and no accidents. LOL

Make sure you make provisions for 220v compressor, HVAC, plumbing, etc. I even wired mine for 5 channel surround sound. Do it now as there is no easier time than now.

Oh yea, lots of outlets and lots of lighting. I have 6 96" dual tube flourescents. Its like a landing strip out there.

My buddy did something to his garage that I wish I had done but if you are in Tx, you may never need it. He put in a heated floor.

Enjoy!!!

I specified that i want the garage unfinished, meaning no sheet rock, electrical, etc.... But i did ask for a breaker box and it connected to the main power. This way i can run as much electrical stuff i want, so it will have 110v and 220v drops, tons of lighting, etc... I can do all that stuff myself so it should make a little cheaper...

My realtor is pissing me off... I am really thinking of telling both of them to eat the corn out of my **** at this point....

Sounds to me like they think your in a hurry or desperate to buy since your last deal fell through (sorry to hear that). Good luck w/ it all. Hopefully they come through for y'all.
