My wife's car, a refrigerator and a watertight 4'x4' container. Shes going down to spend the week with my mom while she is on vacation then Ill be coming down to pick up a couple things and figured might as well throw her car on the trailer so we're not just following each other but Ill be totally unloaded going down.

Did great, but Ive got rs9000xl shocks, airbags and trailer brakes. Since the load had a low center of gravity it pulled well. 12K in my 20' enclosed trailer wouldve been a handful in teh wind. It needs load range E tires to help with sway along with finally getting my load distributing and sway hitch hooked up.

Did it feel comfortable towing it, or was it really having to lug it along?

My truck is the black sheep of the Vmax trucks with its bastard child 3.73 gears(90% of CC 4wd Vmax's have 4.10s) it did well and its completely stock performance wise. When running 60 I had to keep it in 3rd but for the short time I was able to run 70 it held 4th as long as I didnt hit a decent hill. The small wind cross-section helped a lot in the way it pulled. Lighter loads in my 20' enclosed trailer are more of a handful. Sail area really changes the way a trailer pulls especially if you get any sort of wind. I got better mileage pulling this than 8K total in my enclosed trailer.

Load range E tires(high ply sidewall) makes a tremendous difference in trailer sway along with good shocks and air bags. Im working on the tire part though.

Right on. Just curious how the ol L76 handles a load. I intend on towing now and then, and its good to know it works well NA towing. Couple pounds of boost should pick up where the engine leaves off though, if necessary

BTW, I have nothing for you to tow to Houston. Unless you want to strap down a 6 pack of beer and haul it to Kyle's shop to give him a break in between turbo kits
