Frontier is a good choice, but if you demand the most indestructible product then its Ranchhand all the way. I have seen/felt what those things do when they hit something. Something else to consider is that Ranchhand has two series of front replacements: The Legend series and the Summit Series. The legend is the most Heavy Duty while the summit has similar construction to Frontier bumpers. The advantage of Ranchhand is that you get a built in receiver on both models. I know its an option on the summit series but you can still get it. This is a great feature for a winch mount or a place to put feeders during hunting season. I have yet to see a frontier with a built in receiver, plus I just cant resist that ranchhand logo.

Yeah, the Frontier Gear are supposed to be a little lighter than the others, but they are all damn heavy. They run 8-900 dollars too.

I lived in San Antonio for about four years and about two of those years I drove through the Hill Country quite often. Definitely will help beef up the front end and save it. Those bumpers will do wonders... plus, I know of guys who go to Wal-Mart and push the carts into the corral's using their trucks. Always sounds like fun.

There's a Chevy in Kingfisher with a stout bumper with no bullguard on it. The design of it was Great IMO.
If I ever see it parked again I'll try to snap a pic.

or slow cars in the fast lane . . . usually people on cell phones.

This is what I had on one of my trucks . . . it had no problems knocking down 1-2" saplings on trails or bumping slow cars/trucks/soccer mom SUVs. Having the lights on there was always a plus!
