I would recommend Trans Pro in Terrell. They built my TH-400 and that held up to my turbo Silvy which was making around 575rwhp, running 11.3's, and was my daily driver. Never had a single issue with it.

Ask for Jay. You can tell him Moze sent you, but not sure if that will do you any good.

Bottom line I have cut open several brands of converters. I exclusively use TCS performance in Arizona for all my 300m shafts, sleeved drum kits, and their converters because I know what Rusty puts in them.

Other Brands I like and know they build a great product would be Chris's converters from Circle D and PI converters.

Converters I stay away from

anything with the name Monster in front of it, Yank because you will have to yank your transmission back out and replace it, and Phoenix with their oh so special factory reworked converters....

Rant off... If you want to make a statement of how great someone is better be ready to back it up with sone real world knowledge of how **** works.

Just like Chase (Built408) we have had our differences, but the guy truely knows his ****! I know he will take care of the OP... You are the one that came in here to make a post that had nothing to do with the original thread!
Thank you for the kind words sir!

But back on topic... To the OP, there are tons of shops out there who see profit over a quality product. Transmissions are black magic in most peoples eyes, so its easy to screw somebody. Do your research before you choose.

I've had several problems with Phoenix over the years, there for I no longer use them. I've heard some of their newer stuff is nice, but that's just hearsay.

I don't know the first thing about converters or transmissions, but I do know that Phoenix, and circle D for that matter, sell reworked I-6 Trailblazer converters as their low-end upgrades. That doesn't mean they're crap.... You get what you pay for..... As far as not giving the customer what they've paid for in a built transmission....Definitely not ok.
