Getting it at a deal is always a plus. That's kind how mine ended up working out. It was in our dealer's inventory for a good while and he needed to move it. Which is why I got the cart too. They want crazy money for these things so I don't feel bad about getting a deal haha. He's got a double bank Epiq series on his truck right now that's almost $12K and not a whole lot bigger than that KRL you have.

Yeah it sure is great to get great deals. You could never have "enough" tools so to speak.

Smart move on the epoxy, I would suggest doing a double coat as well. Mine is holding up really well but I keep thinking a second layer would of been perfect!
Definitely doublecoat it. Mine is hilding up decently with one coat but i plan on recoating soon.

I love deals!! I work out of a MAC 1900 and the biggest MAC cart. But in my line, you have to have 1/4" dr up to 1" drive standard and metric. I need more room, mine is full, but I dont want to put any more in my set up. I wont say what I have in it all, but its worth $14,000.

For home use I just cant justify spending that much money on a tool box. This box will probably last me the rest of my life so spending 3K+ for a box just doesnt make sense. I can replace this box 4 times before Id break even on one of those boxes. Plus I want more money to go towards filling the box, its been a while since I went on a tool spending spree

Nice box! My bro has a MAC Tech1000 2 bay with a hutch and side cabinet.
I like the KRL master series because it has deep drawers and has a lot of room for a 2 bay box.

Width, inches- 54 1/4
Depth, inches- 29 1/8
Height, inches- 41 3/8

Matco has a nice triple bank deep box too

ha, ha yes Matco boxes are real nice. I had a performance series 3 bay that was 76" long, and 25" deep, traded it in for this one that is 88" long by 27" deep by 45 or so tall. This one is FULL! I was looking into trading a guy for a 103" cornwell that was top and bottom, and a side locker so I could have enough room for all my tools. I was about a grand short on the deal, so we couldnt make a deal on it. I am in my 10th year as a GM medium/Isuzu tech, so I have a large collection.

Very nice Cody, I like those brushed aluminum boxes...I'd like to add one to my arsenal some day. Great deal too. I plan on taking some pics of my current set up and posting up in the old "Show me your garage or workspace" thread that I started a while back in the truck stop. In the mean time, I have some older pics of my gear here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...es3/?start=all
