Hmm?Thats funny I went the exact opposite going from corded only to battery operated tools for 90% of my projects be it work or home.Wait...Now that I think about it.I have been known to be overly emotional too.

Cool deal man,
I like dewalt, ive had a cordless 14.4 drill for 7 years now still works great.
I have a corded 1/2 electric impact Dewalt and it is awesome, the only way i change tires now.
Weve used dewalt tools at work and they hold up great and we are not easy on them at all.
Damn i want a small impact driver!!!!!!!!

Well it was on sale for 100 off and 350 of the price is the polisher and pads so after this order it shouldn't be much to keep me going. I needed it though since I've got 2 trucks, my wifes care and an entire 31' fifth wheel travel trailer to clean up and polish. I'll be breaking this thing in right for sure

Finally ran the battery down on the drill, scared me because the drill just stopped working. Threw the battery on the charger and its working again. Drilled a ton of 10" holes with a spade bit in some wood timbers with no problem. Still loving it and the 1/4" impact is pretty damn sweet. I've broken a few philips heads with due to the tq that little bastard puts out.
Next month when I widen my driveway and extend my porch I'm going to use the hammerdrill function. Plan on drilling some 1" holes into my slab and driveway to epoxy in some #6 rebar. Kinda stupid but I'm excited to try it out. It's the little things in life

Even though some people talk crap about dewalt and say they're just pretty black and Decker tools I don't care. I only buy dewalt and I've beat the crap out of all of them and I've never had a problem with any of them especially my drill which technically is in great working order and just needs batteries. It was just a good excuse to the wife for new tools so I had to use it My first job with it is to hang all the curtains in the house
Dewalt vendor who used to come by work all the time explained to us that Black and Decker is owned by Dewalt. Black and Decker is their lower/consumer use line. Dewalt is their commercial grade equipment.
