Small Fluid Bed Plans/Powder Coating Cheap! $50 and under
Hey Guys,
I know that with all of your great minds and enginuity you can make this fit alot of your applications/projects. This is a small Fluid Bed plan that was given to me so that I can try to paint fishing lures. Today at work I was browsing this small Tools section and it dawned on me that I should upload the fluid bed plans for you guys to use to powder coat small items easy.
Please keep in mind that the sizes of the "cups" is only limited to the amount of space you have and the amount of money in your wallet lol. I think if I remember right this small setup cost me about $20 .

This is a small fluid bed plan that uses 3" cups for floating your powder coat paint, This is perfect for painting small nuts and bolts. Like I said before..... The size and shape of the cups used to paint with are only limited to your imagination. But if you go up in cup size too much keep in mind that you will need to up your air as well.
I have this available in .pdf and .doc files.

Yeah that is basically it in a nut shell - You pour the powder coat paint in the cup and the air is dispersed through an air stone to give you a more fine "mist" of paint.

Thanks Billy!!
Its a pretty handy little setup that is pretty fast and easy once you have everything adjusted and you know how to adjust your air. Cool thing is that this setup can be duplicated on a larger scale. I am not sure if you would be able to vary from the pvp pipe and use a rubbermaid tote since the tote is square and airflow in a square wouldnt be that smooth i cant imagine, even with a large airstone...... Well if anyone else trys this setup and decides to try a different shape cup, Let me know if it works, now Im curious!
Dewey Do ya thang and get this going
