285 on a 10'' wide rim is gonna be hard to bead. And when you have the bead stretched out like that, you are gonna runa good chance of it popping off. Get the 8's

yea i didnt mean to sound so offensive since i thought u were asking for a lowered truck, but let me look in our website (rgvtruckperformance.net) for some of our lifted trucks

I don't think that mounting is going to be an issue as 285's have a section of 11+ inches and anything that is at 40 psi is going to hold up. This is strictly a looks competition.

My friend ran 10s on 265s. Looked nasty. It gives ya a nice wide stance

go 8" wide...10 wide will make those 285s look like donuts and the bead of the wheel will stick out farther than the tread width. looks horrible IMO... I ran a 10" wide wheel on 35x12.5s and switched those to 8" wide wheels and liked them slot better.


35x12.5 on 16x8 wheels

I don't see how you could run 10" wide wheels without a lift. What is the backspacing on the 10" wheel?
