2 wheel avalanch to a 4 wheel drive
I have a question about changing a avalanch from two wheeldrive to a four wheel drive what all would I need to do

Alot, front suspension is completely different. Not to mention transfer case, front diff, trans tailshaft, crossmembers, wiring if going with electric t/c. Would be cheaper to buy a 4wd.

If you REALLY like your AV.
Some do a SAS. Solid Axle Swap.
Use a solid axle differential of an older truck,use leaf springs.
Theirs a couple of company's that would have something like that.
Offroadunlimited might have something ?
But still,a LOT of work....................

i used to have i 97 silverado. did a sas with leafs and a dana 60. cost more to do the work than the truck was worth and it drove like **** on the street. better off buyin a 4x4. trade yours in or buy an old beater to play with
