I wanted the Dune Grapplers in this size, would it work?
If not then 305?s

Are these a good on/off road tire?

I really like the toyo m/t's. 315 will not fit from what i have seen. 295's barely fit with an 8in wheel. With a 16x7.5 the 315's might fit.

My goal for my truck is to take it offroading once in awhile and making it fast enough to beat some ricers and other trucks. What tire is not to aggresive and is still capable of going off road

Or would i be better of throwin some off road tires on my stock rims and then some nice rims for DD

The TOYO Open Country A/T is a well rounded tire.

If you could do it, that would be my suggestion.

I have 305/70r16 Mickey baja radial MTX's on stock z71 wheels. If you are around my are we could slap'em on and see if that size is to your liking. They are For sale btw. (shameless plug)

well with wheels and tires i'm looking for 800 obo + shipping. I could let just the tires go for just 600 obo + shipping (retail is over 700). They have less than 2000 miles on the tires. Only reason i'm looking to get rid of them is because the 4L60e fairy came and stole third out of my trans. So i need to fund my 4l80e project.
