ya i think a def upgrade to a 14 bolt is required. for the front i dont know if you would even consider but i would suggest a SFA swap, its not that hard. they actually make a kit that sells the shackles then all you need is the front springs and a old dana 44 and a tcase (sounds like alot but def worth the swap im sure)

It's basically just going to be for looks and never really see any offroading. Do street miles put that much stress on it that the spindles can't handle that size tire?

if you dont plan on wheelin it that much you should be ok, i know a guy whos runnin 39s on a K5 with the stock 10 bolt. As far as the front wit the spindles goes i wouldnt really know bout that, never had any experience, i couldnt see why it wouldnt hold up though if your not slamming the hell outta it all day every weekend

re-gear the ****** or convert it to a 5spd. You will blow your tenasmission with in 72 hours if you run tires over 35" with that tranny. I had a 1994 2500 4x4 and ran 36's and the mf-er blew three times beofre i re-geared it and converted it to 5spd

You might want to consider upgrading to 3/4 and 1 ton front end parts. most of the obs were swapable. If not your ball joints wont last long at all.
