Why would you have a set of 26s just for towing??? The extra weight will hurt vs stock; if you're going to have two sets of rims, you may as well have a factory setup for use while towing to make things easier.

Ya it wasn't bad but the weight of those things was ungodly LOL
Before he bought his wife a benz she had a Tahoe on 22's that we would also use to tow (little smaller boat then though, 19ft I think)

Another angle of the Hummer

I have a set of 26s now that I plan to use while towing.
Very nice - thanks for the link. Will check it out. My buddy tempted me last night with the 26 inch Lexanis he is selling off of his escalade, but the wife hit the stop button before I could get too obsessed.

I didnt purchase 26s just for towing purposes I purchased them because it was time for a new look and to replace the 5 year old wheels that were pitted to hell. When I did that I made sure the tires and rims were rated to handle the weight i needed for towing.

I've never liked changing wheels out to complete a task, the only time I plan to change them is in the winter. Believe it or not the 26s with tires are lighter then the 22s with tires and ride just as smooth. I haven't been to the track this year so I can't speak on towing comparasion but i don't think it will be too bad.

I do like the look of the hummer! Probably the best looking hummer I've seen but I bet it's a pain in the *** to keep clean though.

I've towed around 8,000lbs with my truck on 24's and 295 tires. I couldn't tell a difference from stock.
