Edit: guess I should say what type of offroading Id be doing, its my DD, light-moderate trails, mudding, some crawling( not much at all)

i was set on the cognito, but someone said, I shouldnt get it, cause its not a very good offraod lift, cause of the diff being so "exsposed as he said" my next option was the procomp, so shoudl I go with the cognito? how much do they tend to cost? Ill be installing whatever I get myself

Cognito is just about the best lift you can put on any truck IMO. As far as the diff being exposed, it's actually one of the lift kits that kind of protect the diff. The front "belly" portion of the lift does a good job shielding the diff. I say cognito if you can afford it, if not the superlift FIT is a nice lift kit.

If you can afford it get a cognito hands down. you'll find that it's a **** ton more expensive than most.
i've heard way too many superlift problems, complaints, broken brackets, welds, etc to recommend them.
Fabtech and Procomp both make nice basic kits. The fabtech is only drops the differential 4.5" and you can crank the rest. The procomp is a full drop which you can crank on top of that so essentially the procomp can lift your truck 1.5" higher.
Fullthrottle is also a nice kit, Rancho is good, but only a 4" kit you can crank to 6".
It all depends on what your budget is.

well when I get the lift, I dont plan on cheaping out, I planned on spending about 2000 on the lift alone orginally so the cognitio kit is within my budget to come, so cognito it is

You will find that the cognito will be more then 2000. That 1800 quote was probably only for the front kit, you then have to pick out which rear suspension you want. Also, gears will be a must if you plan on 35+ tires. Full leaf springs for the rear is the best choice also, not blocks.
